Don't forget...if you are going to be a 4th grader (who made competition), 5th or 6th grader...we have uniform fittings on Tuesday and Wednesday. Fittings will be in room 9 from 3:30-5:00...you can come any time during those hours. Please remember full payment is due at fittings! :)

Future 4th graders who are NOT on competition...

you will be receiving an order form for your squad shirt and bow.

Competition Squad Try-Outs

Try-outs are today...from 3:30-4:45ish in the MPR. We wish all of the girls the best of luck...we know you are going to be AWESOME!!!! Don't forget that the competition squad roster will be posted here...no later than 2:00 on Saturday, May 17th!

Calendar Updates!

Clovis North Spirit Night!The date for the Clovis North Spirit Night has been changed! The NEW date is FEBRUARY 21ST! This is an annual event where all of the pep, cheer, and spirit teams in the Clovis North Area showcase their talents. Both squads will be performing that evening. We do not have exact times yet but this event normally starts around 6:00 p.m. and is over around 7:00 p.m. The girls have been working hard on their performances and we love for family members to attend and support our girls. More information will be coming as the date gets closer. Please let us know ASAP if your daughter will not be able to perform that evening so that we can make the necessary adjustments to the routine.

 

Clovis North Showdown Competition!This is a reminder for all COMPETITION SQUAD members…our competition this year is on Saturday, February 23rd! We are only attending the Clovis North Competition this year. Please complete and return the attached medical release of liability no later than JANUARY 25TH!!!! The competition starts at 10:00 in the morning and will most likely run into the early afternoon. As soon as we have our performance time we will pass that info on to you. The girls have been working very hard in practice and we are looking forward to a wonderful performance at the competition. Please let us know if you have any questions or conflicts!!!

 Uniform Reminders!Since the cold weather is here please remember to wear your red bodyliner with your uniform. If you wear your sweats to school please make sure that you are wearing your bundies and bring your skirt if you are scheduled to cheer...just in case! Just a friendly reminder that NO JEWELRY should be worn with your uniform or at practice.

Calendar Updates!!!!

Please note these changes on your calendar!

Friday, Oct. 19th:
All competition squad members will be performing at the carnival. They need to report to the softball field at 4:00. They will be performing at 4:15 and will be released back to their parents after the performance. Girls should be in their full uniform!

Monday, Oct. 22nd:
Red Ribbon Week Kick-off Rally - all cheerleaders need to wear their full uniform to school! Please report to the amphitheater at 1:15...the rally starts at 1:30!

Tuesday, Oct. 30th:
NO PRACTICE FOR ALL SQUADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Football Canrival!

Football Carnival!!!

When: Saturday, September 8^th

Where: Veteran’s Memorial Stadium –Buchanan High School

Report: 8:00 a.m. at the main ticket gate…just like Broncomania

Pick-up: 12:00 at the main ticket gate if you are NOT staying for the games…if you are staying for the games, we will release them to you in the stands.

What to Wear: Shell, skirt, bundies/briefs, socks, shoes. Hair needs to be in a nice, neat ponytail with your cheer bow!

What to bring: Lots of water, snacks or money to buy snacks

 

This is a very busy event. Every school in the Clovis North, Clovis West, and Buchanan Areas attend this football carnival. THERE WILL BE A LOT OF TRAFFIC SO PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY!!! Admission will be $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children under 13. A printed program will accompany each FAMILY admission until supplies run out. Programs are not sold separately. The girls will be outside cheering for the football team…so please be sure to pack lots of water and sunscreen!

Broncomania Update!

Don't forget that this Friday is Broncomania!!! Here is all of the important information...

When: Friday, Aug. 31^st report at 6:30 p.m., pick-up 8:00 p.m.

Where: Veteran’s Memorial Stadium – Buchanan High School – We will meet near the main ticket gate at 6:30 p.m.

What to wear: Shell, skirt, briefs, shoes, hair in a neat ponytail with cheer bow. DO NOT BRING ANYTHING ELSE WITH YOU!!!!!!!

Other Info: This is an annual event hosted by Clovis North. All of the Clovis North feeder school cheerleaders will cheer with the Clovis North cheerleaders during the first half of the varsity football game. Admission prices for adults are $6, children under 12 are $2, children under 5 are free. If you are not going to stay and watch the game, please meet us at the main ticket gate for pick up.
